Arizona Christian University once again achieved record enrollment this fall in all programs, including more than 600 traditional students on campus for the first time in the school’s history. When including enrollment in its degree completion, concurrent and online programs, ACU is now well over 800 total students and will be serving more than 900 students by year-end.
“Just a decade ago Southwestern College was a small Bible college with fewer than 250 students. Today, in an environment where most small colleges are losing students, Arizona Christian University is rapidly approaching 1,000 total students and continues to exceed expectations,” said ACU President Len Munsil. “At some institutions with tens of thousands of students, it’s easy to feel like you’re just a number. Even as we grow at ACU, you will never get lost in the crowd as we provide individualized attention and service.”
Arizona Christian University was noted in 2016 as Arizona’s most selective college by Business Insider, listed alongside numerous Ivy League schools across the nation.
Remaining faithful to its Bible college heritage, ACU is the only accredited Christian university in Arizona that provides a liberal arts education to all traditional students with a minor in Biblical Studies, two chapels each week and spiritual formation accountability, all while embracing a Christian faith commitment for all staff, faculty, students and Trustees.
“As the top-ranked Christian university in Arizona, students who are serious about their faith and want to be part of an elite educational experience in an intimate community of Christ-followers are finding ACU to be exactly what they were looking for,” Munsil said.
ACU’s national and international visibility is reflected in a community that features students from 29 states and 17 foreign countries, studying for 15 different degree options as they prepare to go into the world, carrying the vision of the institution – to “transform culture with truth.”
High school seniors should begin the application process for ACU now in order to have the best chance for admission and best opportunity to receive scholarships. ACU provides millions of dollars in scholarships and financial aid, reducing the cost of attendance for most students to comparable or in some cases even less than Arizona’s major public universities. ACU’s tuition is about 30 percent less than the average private college in the United States. Interested students can apply here.
