Arizona Christian University was recently named Arizona’s second ‘best value’ university, ahead of two major public universities and higher than any other private college or university in the Grand Canyon state. The rankings were based on graduation rate, net price, acceptance rate and 20-year net return on investment.
This recognition follows closely after ACU was listed among the top 50 Christian colleges and universities in the nation, and was noted by Business Insider for being the most selective college of any kind in the state of Arizona, putting ACU on a list with numerous Ivy League schools.
“We are blessed that the hard work, dedication, sacrifice and prayers of our faculty, staff, administration and Board of Trustees to make Arizona Christian University an elite academic institution are now being recognized and validated by independent sources at the national level,” said President Len Munsil, who just completed his 5th year as ACU’s leader. “Even as we grow, you will not get lost in a crowd at ACU. Our entire community’s commitment to the academic and spiritual success and achievement of each and every student is rare in higher education, and truly sets us apart.”
ACU’s cohesive and biblical general education curriculum – called “The CORE – Christian Liberal Arts for Cultural Transformation,” is the centerpiece of ACU’s commitment to preparing Christian leaders to “transform culture with truth” – to engage the world in every area of influence, from full-time ministry to business, from government to media, from health care to education, from music to family counseling.
With record enrollment this fall, these national and state rankings are additional evidence of the growth of Arizona Christian University, not just in recognition, but in academic excellence and in remaining committed to authentic Christian community.
